INAX tiles may be inspired by nature (a crescent moon, ocean waves); traditional Japanese textiles (wide woven patterns, crochet designs, Samurai armor or battle dress); artisan hand-dyed patterns from ancient periods, or a host of other traditional ornamentation. In the hands of our designers, these patterns and shapes are engineered with unique glazes, striking colors and sculpted effects that create dynamic energy, whether in intimate powder rooms, kitchen backsplashes, expansive entryways or exterior facades. Ecocarat Resources
ECOCARAT tile is produced from a natural clay-like mineral that “breathes” through micropores, maintaining a natural, comfortable humidity level as it regulates condensation. This extraordinary ability to capture moisture from a high-humidity atmosphere and release it when the air is too dry maintains a consistently comfortable environment. Equally important, this healthy humidity balance discourages the spread of mites and molds while keeping skin hydrated. Similarly, its deodorizing properties eliminate unpleasant odors, from tobacco, waste, ammonia, pets or other sources, cleansing the air and essentially turning your walls into a filtration system.
ECOCARAT is available in a range of stunning designs, glazes and unique finishes emulating surfaces from wood to myriad natural stones. Because of its unique hydration qualities, it is best applied in creating beautiful interior spaces, but is not suited for areas that tend to get wet —around sinks, kitchen backsplashes, bathrooms, floors or exterior applications.
